Personal data of customers of the e-shop www.hhc-store.com is processed by the Data Controller. Where goods are sold by the second company (HHC-STORE, Sotiris Berberakis), that company processes the data necessary to fulfil the respective order as an independent controller for order fulfilment, invoicing and legal obligations.
Summary We process only the data necessary to fulfil your orders, manage your account, communicate with you, and – with your consent – perform analytics or marketing. You can change your cookie preferences anytime in the cookie settings.
I. Legal basis
Processing of personal data is carried out in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and related national data protection laws.
II. What personal data we process and why
A) Contact and enquiries
Data: name, e-mail address, phone number, message content.
Purpose: to respond to your enquiry or provide an offer.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – pre-contractual steps at your request.
Retention: up to 6 months after the last communication if no contract is concluded.
B) Orders and delivery
Data: name, address, e-mail, phone, payment and order details.
Purpose: order processing, delivery, invoicing, communication, complaints and returns.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation – accounting, taxation).
Retention: during the contract and 10 years thereafter, as required by tax and accounting laws.
C) Customer account
Data: e-mail, name, order history, login credentials.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – providing the customer account service.
Retention: for as long as the account is active; legally required data may remain after deletion.
D) Newsletter (marketing communication)
Data: e-mail address (optionally name).
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest for existing customers.
Retention: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. You can unsubscribe via the link in each e-mail or by contacting info@hhc-store.com.
E) Security and website operation
Data: IP address, technical logs, session identifiers, necessary cookies.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in ensuring secure and reliable operation of our website.
Retention: typically up to 12 months unless longer retention is legally required.
III. Who has access to your data (processors)
- Netlify – website hosting and delivery
- Supabase – database and customer account infrastructure
- Resend – sending transactional and marketing e-mails
- Zásilkovna / Packeta – delivery and pickup points
- Fio banka (QR-Pay) – processing of bank-transfer payments
- Accounting and tax advisers; e-mail and IT service providers
Data is processed within the EU/EEA. Any transfer outside the EU will only occur with adequate safeguards (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses).
IV. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, receive data portability, object to processing (especially for direct marketing), and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at info@hhc-store.com.
If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – for the Data Controller the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (dataprotection.gov.sk), or your local authority (in the Czech Republic the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz).
